What are the best fall patterns on your local water? My home lake is drawn down 70 feet each fall so the jig-n-craw bite is very strong through Sept. and Oct. due to the crawfish constantly being on the move. As the baitfish have fewer and fewer hiding places to hide, the spinnerbait bite turns on despite the ultra clear water. I fish it pretty fast and the bass come out of deep water to hit it hard. The Zoom shakey head worm produces on sunny days when the fish are tight to the bottom.

I seem to have good luck with crankbaits here. My home water is a River System though.

Crankbaits are great baits in the fall but I rarely fish them because about 98% of my fishing is done from the bank these days. I don't like to lose crankbaits. My home lake is one of the snaggiest waters you will ever fish.
