I only got to fish the lake about 3 hours this past weekend and caught 2 largemouth and 3 smallmouth. I fished several baits but all the bass were caught a Zoom shakey head worm(mardi gras color) fished on a homemade jig head. I missed 4 good hits on a Zoom super fluke jr. The lake was extremely clear. The annual drawdown will start soon so the jig-n-craw bite will pick up as the crawfish migrate with the falling water level.
Some big flathead catfish and a few channel catfish have been caught recently by anglers using live bluegills at night. |
