Comment: When fishing seagulls by boat, go up wind or up current and drift along the side of the action, using a DOA in my eye is highly effective. The use of Doa off the rocks in Galv. beachfront 5-6ft under a cajan cork. in moving tide is a winning bet

Comment: FUn always but best when you can find them schooling! Cast a Cocoho minnow through the school with a moderate retrieve and hang on. Watch for flocking sea gulls and cast under them.

Comment: This is one of my favorites to fish for and catch. My favorite technique is trolling where we have caught them up to 9 pounds. However, the best bait around here seems to be live finger mullet. It is not nearly as much fun as casting jigs or mirrorlures but the average fish is usually larger.

Still, catching a hundred or more smaller ones in an afternoon on a jig is fun that is hard to beat.
